Washing:

Hand washing is best, but if you machine wash, turn the item inside out and use a mild detergent and delicate cycle with cold water. If the embroidery has bright colors, cold water can help prevent colors from bleeding. After washing, remove the item from the water immediately and air dry to prevent shrinking and damage from tumbling.

Spot treating:

For stains, you can spot treat with a mild detergent and a toothbrush, but avoid scrubbing the embroidery directly.

Ironing:

Be careful when ironing embroidered items, if you need to iron, avoid steam as it can damage backings, adhesives, and stitching. Do not place the iron directly onto the embroidered area. Instead, use a pressing cloth over the embroidery or iron on the reverse side.
